Working with Children Check (Blue Card)

First Aid Certificate – CPR, Anaphylaxis & Emergency Asthma Management

Work from your own home or rental property – our Coordinators can help you set up a dedicated Family Day Care space.

Benefits of Joining Our Team

EBCC Service Fees

Our Educator Levy is a flat rate of $5 per week and there is a one-off $50 registration fee upon commencing your service. Our Family Administration Fee (charged to the parents/guardians) is $1.20 per hour/per child.

Inspire Young Minds

EBCC’s educators create programs that offer children a well-rounded learning experience. From creative arts & crafts, to outdoor exploration and excursions, our FDC services encourage children to embrace curiosity, imagination, and discovery.

Set Your Own Fees

On average, our educators charge $45 – $50 per/hour. However, as you are running your own service, you can set your own rates. You can provide care for up to 4x children (under school age) at any time during the week, and up to 3x school-aged children before & after school, and all day during weekends & vacation care.

Work Flexible Hours that Suit You and Your Lifestyle

Educators have the freedom to choose the days & hours they work. This can include weekends & vacation care. Your own children can be included in the prescribed ratio within your care.

Mentor Support & Ongoing Training

You can access ongoing, individual business support from our experienced coordination unit. Our Educational Leader within the Family Day Care department, can also provide guidance and professional development to inspire new programming ideas for your service.

Regular Social Events at Our Community Centre

Being an educator with EBCC means having the opportunity to network at our events and workshops at no cost. We also hold regular play sessions at the community centre, for all our educators and families to attend.
