East Brisbane Family Day Care

At East Brisbane Family Day Care children are at the heart of everything we do. As an approved provider we are the hub connecting children, families, educators and the community.

At the East Brisbane Family Day Care

We are committed to maintaining all child safety standards. Our service operates under the National Quality Framework (NQF), which incorporates the National Regulations, National Quality Standard, Educational Frameworks and an Assessment and Rating process.

Our educators care for small groups of no more than four children under school age at any one time, allowing for personalised attention and meaningful connections. They may also care for up to three school-aged children before and after school, during weekends and school holidays. The Child Care Subsidy can be claimed with our service, helping to make quality, home-based care more affordable for families.

We help you find the best care for your child

Once we receive your enrolment enquiry, our coordination unit will work with you to find the Family Day Care service that best fits your family. Subject to availability, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with several educators to find the right match and discuss your child’s individual routines, interests, and care needs.

We consider preferences such as cultural background, learning a second language, and individual teaching styles to ensure your child is placed in an environment that nurtures their growth and learning journey.

The East Brisbane Family Day Care charges a one-off $50 registration fee per child upon commencement of care, and $1.20 per hour/per child Family Administration Fee.

About our educators

Our educators are qualified early childhood professionals who incorporate the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care in Australia (MTOP) into their programming. They offer care during standard day and evening hours, before and after school, on weekends, and during school holidays.

Our Educational Leader and Coordinators conduct regular home visits to observe and support each child’s learning and development. These visits also provide ongoing guidance and mentorship for our educators, ensuring high-quality practices and continuous professional growth across our service.

In order to provide a safe, educational environment, all our educators are required to...
