Register as an Educator
MAKE THE TRANSITION FROM A 9-5 WORKING WEEK TO FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS WITH EBCC FAMILY DAY CARE!
As a Family Day Care Educator you can expect a unique working experience like no other. Nurture and contribute to a child’s development and learning by working from your own home. Family Day Care Educators work off an ABN, meaning that they can enjoy the freedom of being a business owner and set their own rates and working hours, with the advantage of being able to work from home. The Family Day Care experience differs from long day care/centre-based facilities, largely because it has a lower Child-to-Educator ratio and allows children to receive more individualised attention. Educators are permitted to look after a maximum of 7x children at any one time, with no more than 4x children under school age. You can also take care of your own children as part of this ratio. Increasing demand for child care means there are plenty of opportunities for aspiring Educators to start a new career in Family Day Care with EBCC!
