East Brisbane Community Centre provides an inclusive space and is an active voice for the whole community. It is a professional organisation providing opportunities for people to come together to enjoy their lives and to create a vibrant community.

We aim to build a stronger community by strengthening families and individuals.

Our Partners

We work in partnership with a variety of groups, organisations and volunteers to build capacity across the community development and support service delivery system across Queensland. A key way we work towards this is through developing and nurturing long term and project based partnerships with key stakeholders: our members, other non-government organisations and government.

Our Values

East Brisbane Community Centre is built upon the belief that communities of people, who are dedicated to one another’s success, no matter how long it takes or how difficult it is, can build a healthy and inclusive community for all members of the community to share. East Brisbane Community Centre Inc:-

• Believes that social and recreational opportunities are an important part of a healthy local community
• Promotes the non-government, not-for-profit community sector because it is comprised of organisations that are community driven and responsive to peoples needs
• Believes non-government, community based organisations can provide government with an alternative to public sector services, meanwhile complementing some needed specialised public services
• Recognises that our communities are diverse and that the non-government community based sector reflects this diversity through many and varied community organisation
• Commits to meet the communities needs through the continuous improvement of services, programs, processes and a quality management system
